Resiliency and Performance of Learners in English in a Modular Learning Modality

Abstract :
This study aims to determine the resiliency in e-learning modality and performance in English among Grade 6 learners of Iligan City Central School. The instrument used in this study is patterned from Synergy (2016) called as “Personal Resilience Assessment Questionnaire” which is divided into eighth (8) factors, such as: self-assurance, personal vision, flexible and adaptable, organized, problem-solving, interpersonal competence, socially connected and active). Simple descriptive statistical tools like mean average is utilized to assess the resiliency of learners and inferential statistics like linear regression in order to analyze the relationship between the resiliency of learners and their performance in English.

Abstract :
This paper aims to investigate how some predetermined learning skills in distance education directly and indirectly affect the mathematics performance of the students in distance learning modality. These learning skills include metacognitive strategies, motivational strategies, problem solving appraisals, and self-regulated learning skills.
The Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed to measure the effects of the predetermined Learning Skills towards mathematics performance and explored the variables to develop theories.

Loneliness is a leading cause of poor physical and mental health among the elderly leading to early death.. People who are lonely are twice as likely to experience a decline in daily activities. Senior citizens who have been placed in a nursing or assisted living facility experience disorientation and loneliness as well. Health deterioration in the elderly who live alone and have few visitors is less likely to be noticed and followed up with medical attention.

It is important that we remain informed and educated in order to maintain our safety at all times.This study will explore the experiences of urban dwellers during a fire incident in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. The study participated by six participants who experienced fire incidents in their own household. The participants were chosen through purposive sampling. Interview and guide questions were used in gathering the data. The study used the qualitative approach using the phenomenological design.
